I'm sick at heart whenever I reflect on how religion victimizes women. Religion is male-centered--at least the influential variety is (and is there any other kind, really? OK, paganism maybe ...)--and WOW! no surprise here, it lets men off the hook for whatever perceived evils and makes women responsible instead. How else to account for female victims of rape being stoned to death?
