I think that the main problem with organic nowdays is that this is becoming a very profitable business, and like in any other business profit comes first. If this means skipping certain guidelines or rules, well who cares! The consumer will never know. So I trust only the farmers or seller I personally know!


I hate to say it but that is a spot on. "organic" is being used as a marketing term nowadays. We will never really know unless we trust the farmer itself.


If only I have the time and space in my backyard to have my own poultry I would definitely just go the old school ways so as to not worry myself of being "duped" with the "organic" marks.
